The birddog is a staple exercise for almost any rotational athlete. It's a solid exercise that helps clean up common weak areas athletes tend to struggle with such as,
- Controlling hip extension
- Rotary and anterior core stability
- Disassociation between lumbar spine and hips
- Breathing (quality inhales and exhales)
