Fastpitch Friday Ep.21 A Simple way to Progress the Reverse Lunge

Spring has finally arrived in the state of Massachusetts! With that in mind, I would like to share with you this week's Fastpitch Friday tip of the week. The reverse lunge is a very versatile exercise that can be done just about anywhere and holds multiple benefits that most certainly can help softball players at the plate and on the base paths. 


  • Strengthen posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings)
  • Build core strength
  • Learn how to gain true hip extension without cranking through their lower back
  • Grip Strength
