As a strength coach, one of the first concepts I teach my athletes is how and what it means to "brace". Bracing can help clean up a wobbly lunge, allow someone to squat deeper, possibly relieve nagging pain during an exercises, and essentially become one of the most useful tools in the gym. On this week's episode of Fastpitch Friday, I wanted to give helpful insights on how to effectively brace to optimize both movement and performance.
